None of the natural rhythms discribed in these calendars are new, in fact they are very ancient, mankind's first calendar you might say. Just about everything in our life follows these rhythms. Our grand parents still knew it to a certain extend and collected some of it in "Farmer's Almanacs", but a lot of it, especially the why and how has been forgotten for all too long.
