Your Personal Portrait - How it is done I would be very happy to paint you, your family, four legged or winged friends for you or anything else from one or a combination of several photos! Requirements for the Portrait: One or more photographs of good quality which show the person(s) or pet(s) the way you would like to have it/them painted and with as little large areas of color swallowing shades as possible. I can integrate several photos in one painting. My portraits most often show one to four persons and/or animals and the background of your choosing. Each person, animal and background can be taken from different photos and merged into one painting. They are painted with colored pastels or as black and white pencil drawing. Little things like halters and leashes can be left out, but movement or positions cannot be altered. Pastel paintings will be fixated with a spray and are to be framed behind glass. Portraits usually range from 8" x 12" to 18" x 24", but can be much larger, depending on the number of objects, persons and animals in it. Prices for your personal Portrait in Charcoal or Color:
Allow 4-6 weeks to complete the painting or let me know if you have a specific time line for it to be finished. Go to Contact to let me know you would like to order a painting. Additional Example of How It's Done From 2 separate photos combined Kelly and her beloved dog Buster, who passed away before the portrait was ordered by her husband as a surprise gift in 2010 From 5 different photos combined three of our beloved Spanish Mustang geldings - Born Brave (black), Romero (buckskin) and Cheyenne (grulla with blaze) 2. |
